How do I turn my first 5 network customers into my next 10?

Use your first customers to learn who benefits from the product, build credible evidence and identify appropriate peer introductions. Research specific target people and ask only customers who are comfortable participating. Five customers will not automatically produce ten more; the repeatable advantage is better targeting, relevant proof and well-executed requests rather than a fixed referral multiplier.

Learn from the first customers

Identify the problem they solved, the responsible buyer and the conditions that made the product useful. Use that to narrow your next account list.

Create evidence with permission

Develop accurate examples or references customers approve. A private success story is not automatically permission to publish the customer's name or a performance figure.

Ask for specific, suitable introductions

Research whether a customer knows a relevant person at a target account. Confirm the connection and explain why the conversation may help the recipient. Give the customer an editable note and an easy way to decline.

Own the next steps

Track approvals, introductions, meetings and qualification. Thank customers and share appropriate outcomes without repeatedly returning to the same people.

Use targeted outreach and useful expertise to reach suitable accounts beyond these networks too.
