How should relationship coverage appear in a weekly deal review?

Review relationship coverage by decision role, meaningful engagement and unresolved access gaps, not a raw count of contacts. Ask who matters, what each person needs and which next conversation is appropriate. Keep potential paths separate from established relationships, and use the review to assign work rather than generate another score with no action.

Use a short decision record

For each important role, record the person, evidence of participation, relationship owner, current concern and next step. Mark unknown roles clearly instead of inventing a complete committee.

Ask practical questions

Who owns the outcome? Which evaluator has not been heard from? Are we dependent on one contact? Could an appropriate existing relationship help start the missing conversation?

Avoid assuming every deal needs the same number of stakeholders.

Assign action and ownership

An AE may need to clarify the process with the champion. A technical leader may need to speak with an evaluator. A customer owner may need to approve a reference or introduction request.

Keep coverage separate from forecast certainty

Broader engagement can improve understanding but does not prove a win. Budget, fit and timing remain essential.

Orbb can support research and coordination around relationship gaps. The weekly review should turn those findings into appropriate work, with verified evidence and a named owner rather than a larger diagram.
