How do I get partner reps to actually introduce us?

Partner reps are more likely to introduce you when a specific customer problem and mutual commercial value are clear. Bring a named account, relevant buyer and useful next step, then confirm the rep's relationship and willingness. Support the request through enablement and partner ownership; bypassing the partnership team is not automatically the best approach.

Make the account case

Explain why your offer could help the customer and how the partner benefits: a stronger solution, retention, a joint opportunity or another agreed objective. Avoid making the ask solely about your pipeline target.

Identify the right person

Account ownership, relevant relationships and internal partner rules matter. Coordinate with the partner manager and the rep rather than creating competing requests. A company-level partnership does not guarantee a rep knows the stakeholder you need.

Make participation easy

Supply an editable note, clarify who will lead the discussion and agree any co-selling or attribution expectations. Respond promptly and do not turn a partner introduction into an unrelated sales campaign.

Close the loop

Track requests, introductions, meetings and opportunity contribution at both rep and partner-company level. Share appropriate outcome updates and look for ways to reciprocate.

Orbb can support research and coordination of relationship-led partner introductions. The underlying partnership still needs a real customer value proposition and trust; automation cannot create willingness from an account overlap alone.
