How do I find a hidden blocker in an enterprise deal?

Find possible blockers by clarifying the buying process, unresolved concerns and whose approval or input is missing. Work with the champion and evidence from account conversations before attributing the stall to an unseen person. Stakeholder research can reveal gaps, but a title, old professional connection or model-generated influence score cannot prove opposition.

Ask about the decision, not the rumour

What must happen before the next step? Which concerns remain? Who owns those concerns? Who has not yet participated? A budget or timing issue may explain the stall without any hidden blocker.

Research the missing roles

Check technical, security, procurement, finance and business responsibilities relevant to the evaluation. Use current sources and validate with the buyer. A former employee can offer context without knowing the current process.

Offer a useful conversation

With the champion's context, invite the appropriate stakeholder to address their concern. A relevant peer reference or technical discussion may help more than an executive escalation.

Update the account plan

Record the concern, responsible person, evidence and next step. Avoid labelling someone a blocker solely because they are cautious or ask difficult questions.

Orbb can support people research and suitable relationship paths. The team should use that evidence to clarify the decision, rather than to circumvent legitimate buyer scrutiny.
