Do I need relationship intelligence software if I already have Clay and Sales Navigator?

Add relationship intelligence only if Clay and Sales Navigator leave a meaningful gap in relationship evidence or introduction execution. Clay supports research and integrations; Sales Navigator offers shared connections and TeamLink on eligible plans. Test what an additional provider contributes on your target accounts before assuming another platform is necessary.

Audit your current workflow

Can you identify relevant stakeholders, see potential connectors and confirm whether they genuinely know the buyer? Can you then request, approve, coordinate and track an introduction without work disappearing between teams?

Clay can combine research with external data and integrations. Its documented The Swarm integration is one example of network data in that workflow. Avoid assuming enrichment platforms can never support relationship research.

Test the incremental result

Compare your existing process with a candidate using the same targets. Record additional confirmed paths, better evidence, completed requests, held meetings and internal time saved.

If the bottleneck is a missing owner rather than missing data, another database may not help. You may need an operating process or managed service instead.

Where Orbb fits

Orbb is relevant when the team wants support activating networks through an end-to-end relationship-led motion. Confirm current integration or export options directly; do not assume a native Clay connection or automated CRM writeback without documentation.

Keep the tool if it solves a demonstrated gap. A well-run existing stack can be enough for a smaller programme.

Orbb researches the relationships your company already has — across customers, employees, investors and partners — then runs the introduction end to end, from finding the path to the meeting in the calendar.
