Should we use AI, an agency or our SDRs to recruit event attendees?

Use SDRs for existing account relationships, agencies for specialist recruitment capacity and AI for research, coordination and follow-up. Choose according to guest quality, available networks and operational ownership. A trusted invitation can help, but the event's topic, peer group, timing and location also determine whether executives accept and attend.

Some agencies bring established executive communities or relevant relationships. Evaluate those directly rather than assuming every agency sends cold email.

Route invitations individually

Use a customer or colleague's invitation where a genuine relationship exists and the person agrees. Use the account owner for live opportunities. Apply carefully targeted outreach to remaining guests. Keep one invitation owner per person so an executive does not receive competing asks.

Measure the room you wanted

Define acceptable accounts, roles and seniority before recruitment starts. Track invited guests, acceptances, actual attendance and relevant post-event conversations. Compare total cost per suitable attendee and qualified opportunity, including internal time.

Orbb's Events Agent focuses on relationship-led guest research and invitation execution. Confirm the agreed scope: an invitation service does not automatically include venue management, catering or ownership of every sales follow-up.
